Bollywood Superstar Salman Khan launched Being Human Cycle on the World Environment Day in Mumbai. Salman launched this e-cycle under his brand Being Human. He called this step as an effort to contribute toward the nature.
At the Being Human E-Cycle launch event, Salman said, “Since the time I got into movies, my fans have accepted me… They pay to watch my movies. It’s my time to give back to fans. We pay our taxes, we pay rent and the most important thing is to pay Mother Earth to live here,”
Bollywood’s highest advance tax payer for 2016-17 Salman Khan posed with his cycle at the launch event. His younger brother Sohail Khan also joined him. Both are coming together in the upcoming film Tubelight.
About the nature, Salman Khan said,
“We come from farm lands, my parents and grandparents. My grandfather is from Jammu. All our meals coming back from school used to come from the fruit-bearing trees in Bandra. So, I have planted fruit-bearing trees in my building and in my farm. Nature is very important… We need to plant as many trees as possible,”
Salman Khan’s Being Human cycle price starts from Rs 40000 to Rs 57000. He is aiming to develop sustainable city with less pollution and noise.
Salman Khan’s brand Being Human is offering apparel and jewelry and now they are offering e-cycle. The sales and profit of Being Human Foundation are used for education and healthcare for underprivileged in India.
Some news also suggests Salman Khan to launch his own brand smartphones. Salman Khan also shared about their plan to start gym equipment.

About the Being Human Cycle, Salman said, “Since I was a child, I always cycled. Young kids are getting into high-powered bikes, and there are often accidents. E-cycles are eco-friendlier than motor cycles, it’s easy to commute and it’s also a good workout.”
Very often people find Salman Khan doing cycling around in Mumbai. He also said that going in car takes a lot of time to reach the studio. So he prefers cycling.
He shared his memory about cycle, “The first time my father got me a cycle on rent for 25 paise, he held the seat and I thought he was behind me, but he had left it… and I was cycling on my own. I was four or five years old,”
In filmography, Salman Khan’s next film Tubelight will release on this Eid. In the film, he is playing a specially-abled character. Apart from Tubelight, his film Tiger Zinda Hai Shooting is going on with Katrina Kaif.
