Finally, today Salman Khan acquitted in Jodhpur. Jodhpur court acquitted Salman Khan Arms Act Case. Salman appeared in Jodhpur Court with his sister Alveera Khan.
Salman Khan’s lawyer said, ”Salman Khan acquitted in the Arms Act case after the prosecution failed to provide conclusive evidence.”
While the Prosecution lawyer of Vishnoi Samaj told, “We’ll decide on the further action once we receive the copy of the order,”.
Salman Khan Arms Act Case now closed. Bhaijaan Salman Khan is facing four cases. Last year Rajasthan High Court acquitted Salman Khan in two cases of Chinkara Poaching.
Salman Khan Arms Act Case-
On Tuesday evening Salman Khan reached Jodhpur with his sister Alveera. Salman Khan Arms Act Case under sections 3/25 and 3/27 of the Arms Act filed against him for allegedly keeping and using fire arms. Even he was using it with expired license in the poaching of blackbucks in Kankani near Jodhpur on October 1-2 in 1998.
On 9th January Court recorded arguments from both sides. Then Chief Justice of the Court reserved the verdict for 18 January 2017. And Court asked Salman Khan to present in the court.
Before this in March 2016, Salman Khan gave his statement in this case. he had pleaded innocence. And Salman Khan stated that Forest department framed in the case.
Jodhpur court released Salman Khan as no evidence found. Salman’s counsel said, “We had argued in the court that there was no evidence that Khan was carrying fire arms either during his stay here or during alleged poaching. What he was found in possession with, were actually the air guns.”
While defence also raised questions on the prosecution permission. Prosecution counsel B S Bhati said that the prosecution permission was based on the facts and evidences furnished by the police in its investigation.
Salman Khan Arms Act Case judgement released today so now Salman Khan thanked his fans for supporting him on social media.
Salman Khan’s lawyer argued that there is no evidence that salman was having guns. But he was only carrying air guns with him.
In 2016, Rajasthan High Court released Salman Khan in two cases of Chinkara. After that Rajasthan Government challenged that verdict in the Supreme Court.
