Bollywood actor Salman Khan is under attack for his comment in support of Pakistani actors working in Bollywood industry. But, Salman Khan has found an unlikely ally in firebrand BJP MP Yogi Adityanath, who too has said that India’s fight is beside terrorists attack and “not against art and culture”.
On Saturday, 1st October, 2016, BJP MP Yogi Adityanath said, “Our fight is not against art and culture, it is against terrorism.”

MNS leader Raj Thackeray asked Pakistani actors to leave India in 48-hours in the response to Uri terror attack. After Thackeray’s warning, Superstar Salman Khan gave his statement. Salman said They were Artists and not terrorist.
What Salman Khan said?:
On 30th September, Salman said that artists from Pakistan should not be treated like terrorists. And we should not mix art and terrorism. The Indian Motion Picture Producers Association has announced to ban Pakistani actors from the Bollywood.
While Bollywood is divided over the matter of ban on Pakistani artistes and actors like Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal, Varun Dhawan and John Abraham have complemented the army on the surgical strikes. Actually, even Shiv Sena’s secretary Sanjay Raut lashed out against Bollywood actor Salman Khan.
While Raj said that the bollywood industry knows only the business of their films. But Pakistan banned MS Dhoni biopic in their country. He also said that, Is there lack of talent in India that we should take artists from the neighboring country???
Targeting Salman, Raut said, “No one in his family has died for the country, so he keeps blabbering. Even taking protest march to their homes have no impact.”
